Cosmo received training on how to try the radar machine. The training included Pre-trial Motions, Jury Selection, Opening Statement, the Testimony of the Peace Officer, Cross-Examination, where to incorporate 3 drawings, and the Closing Argument. This training was developed by George Long, an Executive Member of the Association, whose office is located in Odessa, Texas.

The Law Office of Tedone & Morton represents the Crosby family during this troubling time involving the tragic death of Semaj Crosby. The family would like all to know that they greatly appreciate the outpouring of concern and support from the community, and in particular, the hard work and dedication shown by the FBI and the Will County Sheriffs, who are diligently working to ensure that the truth is brought to light and that justice will prevail for this child and her family. The Crosbys' kindly request that they be permitted the time to privately mourn the loss of this little girl who was so loved and who has touched so many people during her brief life. The family will continue to assist law enforcement with their investigation. They thank the community and law enforcement for their continuing prayers, support and diligence in the upcoming days ahead.
